(Ottawa, ON), The Barrhaven Wellness Centre will be holding their first annual Food Matters Movie Expo at the Ben Franklin Theatre on January 25^th, 2009. The movie will begin at 6:30PM and a charge of $5.00 will be applied, all proceeds raised will be donated to the South Nepean Autism Centre to fund further resources in the community.

“We wanted to do this to empower people with the knowledge of how powerful your bodies ability to heal itself when you feed it with healthy choices!” Said organizer Dr. Kahlid Mankal.

Food Matters is a hard hitting, fast paced look at our current state of health. Despite the billons of dollars of funding and research into new so-called cures we continue to suffer from a raft of chronic ill and every day maladies. The South Nepean Autism Centre was founded as a not-for-profit Community Program in 2008, for the purpose of providing training and support to children and families of those diagnosed with any of the Autism Spectrum Disorders. The goal of the South Nepean Autism Centre is to support families and provide networking for them with other families dealing with Autism, while providing a safe and appropriate environment for their Childs needs.

The Barrhaven Wellness Centre is owned and operated by Dr. Kahlid Mankal whom has been in practice for over 17 years. Dr. Mankal has a special interest in helping Autistic children with Cranial Adjustments, advanced nutrition and exercise.
